Terms of Delivery
1) General
CamdenPoint Oy, registration number: FI29158071, address: Vermonrinne 9 C, 00370 Helsinki, sells products to companies and to individuals of legal age. These terms of delivery are applied to your order from the CamdenPoint web store and to the deliveries as well. These terms of delivery are valid as of 25.06.2018. CamdenPoint has the right to change these terms of delivery unilaterally from time to time so please go them through each time and before ordering from our web store.
The Purchaser will hereafter be addressed as “you”.
2) Copyright
The print publication is protected by copyright. All rights are reserved. No part of this publication may be reproduced, stored in or introduced into a retrieval system, or transmitted, in any form, or by any means (electronical, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise) without the prior written permission of the publisher. This book is sold subject to the condition that it shall not, by way of trade or otherwise be lent, re-sold, hired out, or otherwise circulated without the publisher prior consent in any form of binding or cover other than that in which it is published and without a similar condition including this condition being imposed on the subsequent purchaser.
The ePublication is protected by copyright and must not be copied, reproduced, transferred, distributed, leased, licensed or publicly performed or used in any way except as specifically permitted in writing by the publishers, as allowed under the terms and conditions under which it was purchased, or as strictly permitted by applicable copyright law.
Any unauthorised distribution or use of this text may be a direct infringement of the author’s and the publisher’s rights and any person who does any unauthorised act in relation to this print publication or ePublication may be liable to criminal prosecution or civil claims for damage.
3) Definition of an eBook
The term eBook is short for electronic book; it is a digital form of the book. CamdenPoint’s eBooks are in PDF format and can be read on most computers, tablets and smartphones. However, you must have a PDF-reader, e.g. Adobe Acrobat Reader or Foxit Reader. Once you download the eBook file, you own it, and you can use it on any of your devices in perpetuity. The eBook is watermarked for copyright protection and has visible and invisible watermarks. You are prohibited from uploading CamdenPoint eBooks to any website or file-sharing network, or making them available for distribution, sharing, copying, downloading, or reselling in any other way. Any unauthorised distribution or use of this text may make you be liable to criminal prosecution or civil claims for damage.
Digital download of the eBook
Unless the material downloaded has been corrupted, you consent to lose your right to cancel or return digital content once you have downloaded digital files, or received digital files via email.
4) Products and prices
The prices of the products in the CamdenPoint web store are presented in connection with each product. CamdenPoint reserves the right to change the prices and delivery expenses so please check your shopping basket before accepting the order. The prices of the products include the value added tax (VAT), where applicable. All prices and delivery expenses are shown in Euros.
5) Customs Charges outside EU
If you are ordering books outside of the EU, please note that this may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be paid by you. It is accepted by you that CamdenPoint has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance.
CamdenPoint recommend that you check in advance with your local customs officials or post office for more information regarding importation taxes/duties that may be applicable to your online order, prior to placing it on our website. You will be the importer of record and responsible for any import VAT and duty that needs to be paid. In addition, any charges for import clearance will be paid by you, the customer.
Please note that we are not responsible for any delays in customs clearance if, for example, publications are not released as customs charges have not been paid.
6) Delivery expenses
The possible delivery expenses depends on the product itself (for example the weight and the packaging), the delivery address and the method of delivery. The delivery expenses (if any) will be added automatically to the total amount of your order and you can see the delivery expenses (if any) in your shopping basket before accepting your order. Please note that the delivery prices outside EU might be higher.
7) Ordering and contract
You can order the products on the CamdenPoint web store by adding them to your shopping basket, accepting and paying for your order. When ordering on the CamdenPoint web store we require you to read and accept our terms of delivery as valid at the time of ordering. By finalising your order, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted our terms of delivery. When your order has been verified by us, it is binding and forms a contract with CamdenPoint. When you have finalized the order, CamdenPoint charges your bank/credit card, including pre-sales orders. Should you want to cancel the order please act according to “Right to cancel and return of the Delivery”.
8) Purchase requirements
By placing the order you confirm that:
You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts. You must be over 18 to purchase from CamdenPoint. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract. When you place an order, this means you are aware of this age restriction and agree that you are old enough. You have full authority, power and capacity to agree to these terms and conditions. All the information that you provide to us in connection with your order is true, accurate, complete and non-misleading. You will be able to take delivery of the products in accordance with these terms and conditions.
9) Payment Service Providers
Visma Pay
Visma Pay (Visma Payments Oy, business-id FI24865594) is the payment facilitator of the online shop. Visma Payments Oy is a payment facilitator authorized by the Financial Supervisory Authority of Finland. The payment process is conducted in the online service of Visma Pay. Visma Pay or Visma Payments Oy is shown as the receiver of your payment in the bank account listing and in your invoice. Paying with Visma Pay is safe. All information is exchanged through secured connections.
The trade happens between the online customer and the online shop. The online shop is responsible for all obligations related to the trade.

Payment methods
With Visma Pay you can pay your order by an internet banking account or a payment card (credit/debit). 10) Confirmation of order and payment
After you have successfully completed your order, CamdenPoint will send you an order confirmation to your e-mail, so please make sure that you provide a valid e-mail address when making your order. In the order confirmation, CamdenPoint also confirms your method of payment. Should CamdenPoint not be able to accept your order due to unforseen circumstances, we will inform you promptly.
11) Delivery
CamdenPoint will deliver your order via the delivery method chosen by you when ordering. CamdenPoint reserves the right to cancel any order for any reason at any time prior to dispatch, should CamdenPoint, for example, not be able to dispatch the ordered product because of reasons beyond CamdenPoint’s control, e.g. our supplier is unable to supply us with our orders.
Delivery within Finland
Your delivery will be sent to the delivery address you provided when you confirmed your order. Any extra costs arising due to a wrong delivery address is paid by the purchaser who provided the address.
We can also take orders from other countries to deliver to an address within Finland.
Delivery within the EU (outside Finland)
Your delivery will be sent to the delivery address you provided when you confirmed your order. Any extra costs arising due to a wrong delivery address is paid by the purchaser who provided the address.
Delivery outside the EU
For the time being, outside the EU we deliver hardcover books only to Norway, Switzerland and the USA. We are engaged in the issue and committed to looking at options that support delivery of hardcover books also to other countries outside the EU. If you have any questions regarding this, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service customerservice@camdenpoint.fi.
Your delivery will be sent to the delivery address you provided when you confirmed your order. Any extra costs arising due to a wrong delivery address is paid by the purchaser who provided the address.
Estimated delivery time
Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted.
Within Finland 3 – 5 working days
Within the EU 5 – 8 working days
Outside EU 7 -15 working days
The delivery times are estimates, and CamdenPoint Oy cannot guarantee that your order will arrive on time. Unforeseen delays that are beyond CamdenPoint’s control may occur. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from a delay in delivery.
12) Availability of goods
CamdenPoint Oy will make every effort to ensure that books are in stock and being shipped according to the estimated delivery time.
13) Right to cancel and return of the delivery
If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act by notifying us of your cancellation at the latest 14 calendar days after you have received the goods or the last lot of the delivery.
You must make your notification of cancellation clearly, for example, by using our cancellation notification form that can be found as a link in the confirmation email, by sending your notification to CamdenPoint’s e-mail address customerservice@camdenpoint.fi, or via written notification attached to your return delivery of the goods.
You may cancel the order only if the goods are returned in their original package, unused, and packaged well for the return delivery.
If you cancel your order, you have to return the goods promptly, at the latest within 14 days after the cancellation notification, to the Return Address mentioned in the terms. If needed, you have to show proof that the goods are returned within the above mentioned return time (e.g. by showing the return receipt). The return is at your own risk and at your own expense, and we will not refund your costs for returning the item to us.
When returning the goods, please attach your name, contact information and your accurate bank account number, so that we can return your payment for your order. We will return such payment promptly in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, provided its condition is according to our return policy.

14) Inspection of the delivery, errors and problems
Please inspect the delivery received promptly upon receipt. If a product is missing or damaged during the transport, or if the delivery is otherwise not in the condition specified when you ordered, or if there is a defect in the product, please notify us via customerservice@camdenpoint.fi promptly, and at the latest within 14 days, so we can discuss possible options. Regarding defects related to products ordered by consumers we adhere to the mandatory provisions of the consumer protection legislation.
15) Failed delivery
If no one is available at your address to take delivery, or if the Carrier is hindered from accessing the delivery address you provided, or if the Carrier for some other reason of similar nature cannot deliver the consignment, you will, according to Carrier praxis, be informed by the Carrier (local delivery company, courier or postal service) on how you can rearrange delivery. If you after this do not re-arrange delivery or collect your publication/s from the delivery depot, the Carrier or CamdenPoint may charge you for storage costs and further delivery costs. If after a reasonable time has passed and you still fail to collect your publication/s from the delivery depot, CamdenPoint, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to assume that you have broken the contract. In such a situation CamdenPoint will refund any money you have paid in advance for publication/s we have not provided, but we may deduct or charge you a compensation for the costs we will incur as a result of your breaking the contract.

17) Limitation of liability
CamdenPoint Oy shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or other damage related to or arising from the order, delivery or the product, except to the extent as otherwise stipulated by the mandatory provisions of the consumer protection law or by the mandatory provisions of other applicable law.
18) Governing law
These terms and conditions will be subject to Finnish law in respect of any dispute arising from the sales contract between you and CamdenPoint and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Finnish law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Finnish courts.
In case of any dispute regarding your order CamdenPoint wishes to settle such primarily with you. So please contact our customerservice@camdenpoint.fi in such matters so we can try to settle the question.
If a dispute concerning a sales contract cannot be resolved through negotiation between the parties, the consumer can submit the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board in Finland for resolution.

19) Your details
When you register on the CamdenPoint Oy website, you will need to choose a contact email address and password. You are responsible for all sessions and transactions taken under these details. You should keep your password safe and not disclose it to anyone. You should change it immediately if you feel it has been compromised.
20) Disclaimer
The nature of Internet communications means that the purchaser’s communications may be susceptible to data corruption, hacking, interception and delays. CamdenPoint Oy shall not be responsible for any problems or damages whatsoever this may cause the purchaser. We accept no liability in respect of any material submitted by the purchaser and CamdenPoint is not responsible for its content and accuracy.
Neither CamdenPoint Oy nor any of its employees or other representatives will be liable for damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this site in any way. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims by third parties.
21) Errors, inaccuracies and omissions
Due to a human or technical error there may occasionally be information on our website that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information on our website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

You can review the most current version of the Terms of Delivery at any time at this page. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Delivery by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website for changes.
